Incubus - I Miss You
I’ve been feeling really nostalgic of late, so this is about as fitting as a song can get.
True story: In high school, my drama class required that everyone sing a song for our second semester “final”. I chose this song and kicked some ass for about 5/6 of the way. Then came the grand finale, and when I tried to hold out the final note I turned bright red, started sweating profusely, my hands and feet went numb, and my voice started cracking as if I went through all of puberty in that 5 seconds. I’d tell you how the class reacted, but I got lightleaded and had to go outside to get some air.
Suffice it to say, the ladies were very impressed.
Simply because I love the fact that my favourite band has so many different memories to all their songs. I see all of these people posting their memories and it makes me happy.
This one made me smile, in particular. Don’t know why.
